It is with great honor and sadness that I dedicate this site to my mother, Rebecca (Becky) Meador. In August of 2001, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of liver cancer. After an unsuccessful operation and two months of treatment, she passed away. Those of us in Norman and other parts of the country who knew and loved her were shocked that such a healthy, vibrant lady could be gone so quickly. She will be greatly missed. Along with my father, she provided an environment that helped me grow into the person I am today, for which I am very proud and grateful. And, as season ticket holders since the 1950s, they helped introduce me to this thing called Sooner football in the early 1970s. On the right are just a few of the organizations dedicated to cancer research and treatment. Please visit one or more of them and donate what you can to help fight cancer. |
