Obituary:

(Fort Worth Star-Telegram) Max Culver, 84, passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007.

Max grew up in Oklahoma and graduated with a B.S. degree from OU. He played collegiate football and professionally for the New York Giants. In 1994, Max retired from General Dynamics in Fort Worth. Throughout his career, he traveled extensively with his loving wife of 35 years and felt the best part of their lives together was spent with his wife while living in Holland. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed spending time with his family, the community in which he lived, and was a distinguished member of the Texas Scottish Rite.

Survivors: He leaves many to mourn their loss, son, Kevin and Candis Culver; daughter, Kimberly and Otis Calk; grandchildren, Christopher Miller and Brittney Culver; and great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Miller.
