STUFFLEBEAN Nathan Otis, 76 of Pauls Valley. Passed away Friday. He was born May 14, 1916 in Noble and was a longtime resident of Pauls Valley.

He married Wilma Bell October 10, 1940. Survivors are his wife, Wilma; son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Tana Stufflebean of Edmond; daughter, Pat Runyon and son-in-law, the late Ron Runyon of Longmont, Colo; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Russell Hunt of Pauls Valley; 2 brothers, Noble and Ralph Stufflebean of Pauls Valley; sister, Eunice Helvey of Pauls Valley; grandchildren, Kristen and Brent Gibson of Edmond, Katy Stufflebean of Edmond, David, Andy, Luke and Sara Runyon of Longmont, Co, Kim and Rusty Hunt of Pauls Valley; great grandchild, Shane Gibson of Edmond. He was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Craig. He owned Stufflebean Oil Co. and Stufflebean Gifts. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a charter member of Falconhead Christian Fellowship. He was co-captain of the 1935 Pauls Valley All-State Football Team, graduated from Pauls Valley High, attended OU and OSU. He was an Eagle Scout and a Beaver Scout and recently received recognition for 50 years service to the Boy Scouts. He was past President of the Kiwanis Club, Chamber of Commerce, was Mr. Pauls Valley in 1957, was a School Board Member, Fire Chief, President of Oklahoma State Firemen's Association, member of the Board of Directors at Falconhead, member of the Falconhead Golf Association. He was active in 4-H and FFA work. He was very interested in sports and welfare of the children of Pauls Valley. Services are Monday at 10:30 a.m., First United Methodist Church in Pauls Valley. Under the direction of Stufflebean Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Falconhead Christian Fellowship Chapel or the charity of your choice.
